A finding first published in a study by the CitationRoyal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and English Heritage in 1993 (RICS, 1993).

Principally the English Heritage money was derived from the Heritage Economic Regeneration Scheme (HERS) which depends upon joint initiatives between Local Authorities/Public Agencies and the private sector (see CitationEnglish Heritage, 1999).

Evidence presented to The London Plan Examination-in-Public by English Heritage London Division when dealing with heritage policy issues on 14 March 2003.

In 2003 around 60,000 volunteers were involved in National Trust work drawn from a membership of 3.3 million.

Ralph Allen (1693–1764) was responsible for landscaping at Prior Park for 30 years from the late 1730s. He was also associated with the promotion of Bath Stone as a material for the construction of eighteenth-century Bath.
