Reingard M. Nischik

Reingard M. Nischik is Professor and Chair of American Literature at the University of Konstanz in Germany. She has published extensively on Canadian and American Literature and the works of Margaret Atwood. Nischik has won the Best Book Award of the Margaret Atwood Society as many as three times, for Margaret Atwood: Works and Impact (2000), for Engendering Genre: The Works of Margaret Atwood (2009), and for her most recent book, Comparative North American Studies: Transnational Approaches to American and Canadian Literature and Culture (New York: Palgrave Macmillan, 2016), which includes an extensive chapter on reviewing Margaret Atwood’s works.
