Abstract

Organochlorine insecticides used for sheep dipping were withdrawn from the market in 1961. Since then, organophosphate insecticides have been submitted occasionally to Wallaceville Research Centre for testing as fly-strike remedies. Earlier results have been reported by Greenwood (1964), Millar (1966), and Heath & Tenquist (1971).
