Bin, Ai. (2017). The communication patterns of Chinese students with their lecturers in an Australian university. Educational Studies. http://dx.doi.org/10.1080/03055698.2017.1293507.
When the above article was first published online, on page 5, the second paragraph from the bottom, “The students’ responses reflected a perception that in Australia, frequent communication with lecturers will help their examination results; as Baixue commented:” was set as a quotation. It has now been corrected to appear as a normal paragraph. Furthermore, on page 8, the last two paragraphs were repeated. The last paragraph has now been corrected to: “In China, teachers are like baby-sitters, but in Australia teachers are your friends. You will feel safe as they always can help you. In China, teachers often force you to study by various examinations or assignments; however, in Australia … if you do not want to study, teachers will not put pressure on you. (Jordan)”.
This has been corrected in both Online and Print versions.
