Matthew Green
Dr. Matthew Green is an Assistant Professor in the Curriculum and Instruction Department within thesUniversity of Louisiana – Lafayette College of Education. His research has examined how pedagogical classroom practices function to shape identities of students and how identities are mediated in schools. Specifically, Dr. Green is interested in the socialscontext of schooling revolving around relationships between race, immigration, identity, school discipline, educational inequality and the pedagogical practices of schools.
Jade Calais
Jade Calais is a doctoral candidate at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and an assistant principal in the Louisiana public school system. Her research interests include the school discipline gap and illuminating ways in which Black parents experience agency in relation to schools in the south.
