Abstract

Seven digestion methods for arsenic speciation in bivalve mollusea were investigated. A method using HNO₃ HC1 (3:1) was found to be the best in order to provide the highest recovery. The method was used for As(III)), As(V), MMA and DMA determination in mollusea by IEC-HG-AAS.
