INTERNATIONAL MEETINGS

It is advisable to send details of meetings at least 1 year in advance, so that the information will be published in several issues of the journal.

WVPA MATTERS

The World Veterinary Poultry Association (WVPA) website can be accessed at http://www.wvpa.net. The latest issue of the Association's newsletter, Aerosols, is available online at the WVPA site.

Members of WVPA may subscribe to Avian Pathology for the year 2005 at a price of £62 or US$100. Proof of membership should accompany an application for a subscription.

Houghton Trust International Travel Grants

Royalties from the sale of Avian Pathology are used by the Houghton Trust to establish a fund to assist young research workers (normally 35 years old or younger) of any nationality for participation in scientific meetings, visits to laboratories and training courses in connection with research on avian diseases. Application forms may be obtained at the website of the Houghton Trust (www.houghtontrust.org.uk).

Avian Pathology online

Institutional subscribers to Avian Pathology can access the same volume of the journal online at no extra charge. The process can be started by going to the journal's webpage (http://www.tandf.co.uk/journals/tf/03079457.html) and selecting the ‘e-journal’ button. Abstracts of papers published in volumes 28 (1999) onwards are accessible free of charge.
