Abstract
This paper presents a solution of the suboptimal regulator problem for a class of discrete-time nonlinear polynomial systems. The solution is obtained by reducing the
control problem to the corresponding
one. A general solution has been obtained for a polynomial of an arbitrary order; then, finite-dimensional regulator equations are derived explicitly for a second-order polynomial. Numerical simulations have been carried out to show effectiveness of the proposed method.
