Lemma 2.1

If A is a nonnegative irreducible n × n matrix with spectral radius ϱ(A) and row sums s 1, s 2, … , s n , then

Moreover, one of the equalities holds if and only if the row sums of A are all equal.

Lemma 2 should be replaced with the corrected version below:
