Abstract

Varmam is a subtle energy that functions in the body. The places where these energies reside and activate both body and life are known as Varmam points. Any disturbance to the flow of these energy results in illness. From the literature, it is found that no method exists to measure the energies prevailing in the Varmam points. The objective of this research is to capture the signals and analyse them to compute the life energy in Varmam points which could be used for determining the pressure to be applied over the point for better diagnosis. In this research, we have developed a device to monitor life energy using Bio Sensors. Energy levels were measured at two Varmam points, Kai Kavali Varmam and Manibatha Varmam, for a group of people and found that the energy levels vary with gender irrespective of age groups.
