The semen donor can be seen as an individual who is at the centre of a web of relationships. Some of these relationships are interactive and therefore provide him with feedback. These include the clinic staff, his partner and friends. A further set of relationships are involved and these include the child, the recipient couple and the community. These relationships are non-reactive in that there is none or very little feedback for the donor.
