Abstract

Investigations into fungi associated with sorghum grain in Nigeria indicate the occurrence of a newly described fungus, Fusarium andiyazi alongside F. nygamai. These fungi have earlier been reported as F. moniliforme. Our results highlight the need to re-evaluate Fusarium species associated with sorghum in Nigeria.
