Results revealed that first, the retirement coaching education (RCE) utilizing the Retirement Coaching Model (RE-TIRE) positively influenced and increased the core communication skills and empathy of the retirement planners. The participants evaluated themselves as having improved in recognition, empathy, listening, and open-ended questioning abilities—all the general core concepts of coaching. Specifically, for participants who believed their financial planning skills to be higher, their coaching skills were improved further. Second, the tool utilized was confirmed to be helpful for experts in client advisement to incentivize retirement preparation through the retirement coaching method, and it helped clients prepare for their retirement effectively. Third, RCE had empowered retirement planners to trust in their own planning and counseling capabilities for maximum utility. Fourth, RCE can change public engagement in planners self-retirement coaching for successful retirement.
