MENTORING WORK VALUES: IMPLICATIONS FOR COUNSELORS

Abstract

Older employees in the work place have the opportunity to translate work values to younger workers. The life experience and knowledge older adults possess are significant resources for educating today's young adults. Either through formal or informal means, mentors can lead individuals to gain important life values that make the work place more productive and contribute to a better society. The following account describes one man's life mentoring work values to younger generations.
