Abstract
The crystallization, mechanical properties and heat resistance of β-iPP were investigated by means of DSC, WAXD, PLM, SEM, mechanical and heat deflection tests. It is revealed that the content of β crystal of β-iPP is higher than that of pure iPP, and the content of β crystal of the core is higher than that of the skin of injection molded specimen. And the spherulitic size in the core of β-iPP specimen is smaller than that of pure iPP. The tensile strain at break, Izod notched impact strength and HDT of β-iPP specimens are improved.
