Abstract

In a cross-sectional design, primiparous (first parity) and multiparous (second parity) parity male Fischer 344 rats were tested for passive avoidance performance at 100 days, one year, and two years of age. Second parity animals showed greater ability to inhibit behaviors across all three ages but there was no interaction of age with parity.
