Abstract

Economic design for acceptance sampling plans (ASP) has attracted the attention of many researchers. In this article, rectifying single ASP is checked by using the maxima nomination sampling method and the plan’s parameters are obtained while sum of consumer and producer loss is minimized. In the presence of inspection errors, the lots are rectified in two ways: the detected defective items are discarded or replaced with non-defective items. To illustrate the advantages of the economic design of MNS, it is compared with SRS plan by using a real world example.
