Optimal Designs for Trigonometric Regression

Pages 755-766 | Received 17 Mar 2006, Accepted 01 Jul 2006, Published online: 22 Mar 2007

Abstract

Trigonometric regression is widely used in medical sciences, biological, and engineering. It is very important for obtaining optimal designs of lower-order trigonometric polynomials on an arc in practice. However, a few attention has been paid to this field. In this article, we develop the optimal designs for trigonometric model with cosines terms or since terms only on partial symmetry cycle using canonical moments.
