Abstract
This article deals with the inspection problem of selecting good finite populations. The empirical Bayes approach is applied to incorporate information from various sources to construct a simultaneous inspection procedure . The relative regret of is used as a measure of its performance. It is shown that the relative regret of converges to zero at a rate (ln n)1.5/n where n is the number of finite populations involved in the inspection problem.
