ABSTRACT

The present paper is an attempt to analyze the effect of non response at both occasions in two-occasion successive sampling. Using the sub-sampling of non respondent technique, exponential type estimators have been proposed to estimate the current population mean. Properties of the proposed estimators are examined and respective optimum replacement strategies are suggested. Empirical studies are carried out to evaluate the performances of the proposed estimators. Results are interpreted and suitable recommendations have been made.
