Abstract

A PBIB design based on L2 association scheme with parameters: v=p2,b=pp1,r=p1,k=p,λ1=0,λ2=1,n1=2p1, n2=p12 has been constructed in literature using mutually orthogonal Latin squares (MOLS). In this note we are presenting an alternative method of construction of such designs using the circulant matrix. A method of construction of a PBIB design based on the L2 association scheme with generalized parameters v=p2, b=p2s+tp1, r=2s+tp1, k=p, λ1=s, λ2=t, n1=2p1, n2=(p1)2 where p is a prime is also given.
