In Kyriakoussis and Vamvakari (2017), page 4092 and line 7 from the top the assumption

(b) In the consecutive mutually disjoint time intervals of length ${\delta }_k=(1-q)q^{k-1}t,k=1,2,\dots ,\nu ,t>0,\nu \ge 2,$ correspond ν independent events (arrivals). should be completed as follows

(b) In the consecutive mutually disjoint time intervals of length ${\delta }_0=q^{\nu }t$ and ${\delta }_k=(1-q)q^{k-1}t,k=1,2,\dots ,\nu ,t>0,\nu \ge 1,$ correspond $\nu +1$ independent events (arrivals).

The above complement with the disjoint time interval of length ${\delta }_0=q^{\nu }t$ has been included in the assumption (b) of the paper Vamvakari (2020) (page 6083 and line 12 from the top) according to a suggestion of an anonymous referee.
