Ethical issues in the evaluation of communication behavior

Since the evaluation of communication behavior is performed by individuals who are prone to subjectivity, it is important that the ethics of this process be examined. The authors discuss respect, fairness, freedom, and responsibility as ethical principles necessary when students’ communication skills are evaluated.
