Abstract
One part of activity of the Central Institute of Supervising and Testing in Agriculture is to monitor the state and dynamics of the soil parameters. The Basal Soil Monitoring System was established for this purpose. This system is in operation since 1992 and consists of 217 monitoring plots. Soil samples are taken each six years from the whole set of the monitoring plots, and annually from 50 plots. Inputs of chemical elements from the atmosphere are observed on 47 plots of the Basal Soil Monitoring System, nowadays. One of inputs into soils is also sewage sludge. Almost 400 samples are taken and analysed. Some results are published in this paper.
