1 As it was noted by Potemkin and Sofronova (Citation2009, p. 307, note 60) spelling of the species epithet of Scapania ornithopoides follows the original spelling of Withering (Citation1776), which has the be retained according to Art. 60(1) of the ICN (Turland et al. Citation2018) instead of broadly accepted epithet of this species ‘ornithopodioides’.
