Notes
1 NB. Calymperes couguiense Besch. was neotypified by Ellis (Citation2002). This typification may need revision owing to the discovery of previously unseen material in PC; specifically, PC0110234 “New Caledonia, Balansa s.n.”, held in a bound volume incorporating fragments separated from Bescherelle’s main herbarium, BM. As the author has seen this material only online, closer examination is required, but it is probably an appropriate specimen to serve as lectotype for C. couguiense Besch., replacing the neotype previously designated by Ellis (Citation2002).
