Abstract
The paper is the first contribution to the revision of the tropical oriental genus Ceocephalus Guérin-Méneville [1833] (= Diurus Pascoe 1862, new synonymy), and deals with the species having antennae with nine segments. C. antennatus (Ritsema 1882) (= sphacelatus Pascoe 1887 n. syn.), C. filicauda (Senna 1910), and C. tarsatus (Ritsema 1882) are redescribed and C. enricae n. sp. and C. sennai n. sp. are described. A lectotype for C. sphacelatus is designated. A key to the five species of this group is given.
