SUMMARY

In preparation for RADARSAT, the Canada Centre for Remote Sensing has acquired airborne SAR images of several sites in Canada. This paper provides a review of recent Canadian studies in SAR geology. Studies are focussed on the kinds of geological information that can be obtained from SAR data or from combinations with other geological/geophysical data sets in support of geological mapping exploration and geological hazard studies.
