Most of this issue of the Australian Journal of Linguistics is on ‘Studies in Australian Indigenous Conversation’, guest edited by Ilana Mushin and Rod Gardner. However there remained space for an additional unrelated paper, ‘What can modularity of mind tell us about the semantics/pragmatics debate?’, and some book reviews. I sincerely hope this is acceptable to everyone.
