Abstract
This article explores a discrimination case where a high school junior was cut from the soccer program and his parents filed suit alleging age-based discrimination in violation of the Age Discrimination Act (“ADA”), 42 U.S.C. § 6101 et seq., gender-based discrimination in violation of Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972, 20 U.S.C. § 1681, and violations of the District’s own policies against discrimination.
