Abstract
An onset of ferroelectric-relaxor like behavior of 0.8BT-0.2NBMT ceramics is studied in the temperature range from 15K to 573K. A broad dielectric peak with relatively high dielectric maximum shows frequency dispersion. The dielectric constant follows the modified Curie-Weiss law with the γ = 1.65. The relaxation rate follows the Vogel-Fulcher relaxation with E = 0.496 eV and TVF = 104.43K. The polarization hysteresis loops are observed with a small remnant polarization of 2.5 μ C/cm2 at room temperature.
