Abstract
The correlations and nature of the internal, thermo-electro-mechanical fields of ferroelectrics were investigated. The thermodynamic equation and the equation of the properties of matter which are satisfied by the internal, electric and mechanical fields were given. For the reduced, thermo-electric coupling case, the conclusion that the greater the latent heat is, the greater the polarization is, was obtained. And we found that the effect of volume and shape, combined with the electric effect, is connected to that of the changes of the distances and orientations among particles causing the changes of the distributions and movements of charges or vice versa.
