Abstract

Thermal conductivity of ferroelectric PMN and SBN single crystals and polycrystals show glasslike behaviour. By an electric field the thermal conductivity of SBN is enhanced, demonstrating the close connection of glasslike behaviour with the disorder in the domain walls of these substances.
