Abstract
Polarization-cooling and depolarization-heating effects are demonstrated for the first time in an anti-ferroelectric (PbZrO3 ceramic). These electrocaloric effects are small at 4.4 K (~ 30 mK at 25 kV/cm) and immeasurably small at room temperature.
