Abstract
Counseling supervision in the “helping professions” is a growing area. However, there is little research on counseling supervision in schools other than that provided for school counselors, and no research into counseling supervision of boarding school staff. Supervision of teams is another under-researched area, compared with a plethora of research into group supervision. This study attempts to start to fill such gaps, through observations of counseling supervision sessions of two staff teams working in a Turkish coeducational, partially boarding high school during a six-month period, as well as semi-structured interviews with all 11 supervisees and their supervisor.
