Douglas P. Pflug

Douglas P. Pflug is a seasoned Executive Leadership Coach, Mentor, and Motivational Speaker with over 35 years in law enforcement. After retiring as a Sergeant from the Guelph Police Service in 2017, he became Provincial Coordinator at the Ontario Police College Leadership Unit. Doug has trained and mentored numerous police and civilian leaders, emphasizing community policing. He holds certificates in Executive Leadership from Cornell University and Human Resource Management from McMaster University. Doug’s accolades include the Sovereign Medal for Volunteers, the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal, and the Governor General Police Exemplary Medal for his professional and community contributions. Beyond law enforcement, Doug founded IRONWILL 360 Strength & Conditioning and coached elite athletes, including the Guelph Storm Hockey Club. He’s also supported the Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run and coached the Guelph Wellington Buns Master Rollers Special Olympics Floor Hockey team to multiple championships. Doug’s leadership philosophy centers on: “Leading with my best self, Modeling the behavior I seek from others, And creating environments where others can succeed.”
