A test method for launch safety of explosive charge accurately simulating launch overload

ABSTRACT

In this paper, the generalized Maxwell constitutive equation is embedded into LS-DYNA program by secondary development technology, the projectile launching process is numerically calculated, and the stress distribution of explosive charge in the launching process is described. According to the calculation results, the explosive charge launch safety simulator for the research of explosive charge launch safety is designed and developed. Then the experiment is carried out, and the dynamic behavior and ignition process of explosive charge were obtained. Finally, a quantitative evaluation method for the launch safety of explosive charge is established, and the launch safety of the PBX is evaluated.
