Aron Aji directs the University of Iowa’s MFA in Literary Translation program and is the current president of the American Literary Translators Association (ALTA). He received the National Translation Award for Bilge Karasu’s The Garden of Departed Cats and an NEA fellowship for Karasu’s A Long Day’s Evening.
