Jennifer Leigh Disney
Jennifer Leigh Disney is Professor & Chair of the Department of Political Science and Director of the Women’s & Gender Studies Program at Winthrop University. She is a former Co-Chair (2007-2009) of the Caucus for a New Political Science. She is a former Co-Editor (2014-2017) and former Associate Editor (2011-2014) of the journal New Political Science: A Journal of Politics and Culture, as well as a current member of the journal’s Editorial Board (2009-present). Her book, Women’s Activism & Feminist Agency in Mozambique and Nicaragua was published by Temple University Press in hardback in 2008 and paperback in 2010.
