In volume 28, issue 4 of Art Therapy: Journal of the American Art Therapy Association, incorrect text appeared in the article “Research Ethics: Institutional Review Board Oversight of Art Therapy Research” by Sarah P. Deaver, pp. 171–176, DOI:10.1080/07421656.2011.622685. Due to an editing error, a statement on p. 174 regarding the risks of art therapy research was incorrect. The statement should read: “… art therapy research typically presents no more than minimal risk; therefore art therapy proposals may be expedited.” The editors apologize for the error.
