Sharon MacKendrick
Sharon MacKendrick ([email protected]) earned a B.A. from Colorado State College (now the University of Northern Colorado) in 1969, and an M.A. in mathematics from the University of New Mexico in 1981. She recently retired from teaching two-year college mathematics at New Mexico State University, Grants, and is currently enjoying retirement by teaching in the heart of the Navajo Nation at Dine College in Tsaile, Arizona. She is particularly grateful to Dr. Carol Walker, Associate Dean Emerita, Director Emerita, and Professor Emerita, New Mexico State University; without her this article would not have been written.
