THE XXIst IFPS FORUM, “THE PSYCHOANALYTIC ENCOUNTER: CONFLICT AND CHANGE”, organized by the Associaçâo Portuguesa de Psicoanálise e Psicoterapia psicanalitica, WILL TAKE PLACE IN LISBON ON FEBRUARY 5-8, 2020,

All Abstracts of Individual or Panel Papers are due by October 31, 2019.The International Forum of Psychoanalysis will publish a selection of the papers of the Forum in a monographic issue.

CALL FOR PAPERS

THE PSYCHOANALYTIC ENCOUNTER: CONFLICT AND CHANGE will reflect about global, relational and individual aspects of theoretical and clinical perspectives related to the psychoanalytic process.

The XXI International Forum of Psychoanalysis welcomes all IFPS members to submit proposals for individual papers and/or a panel representing papers from your society that address the XXI Forum topic.

Proposals should be between 300-500 words. Individual papers will be 20 minutes. Panel presentations will consist of max 4-5 papers (20 minutes each) with an overview of the panel and individual abstracts. Abstracts must be in English and must be submitted to Cristina Nunes,  [email protected].

Feel encouraged to participate and, please motivate your colleagues to attend our XXI IFPS Forum in Lisboa. We look forward to our international colleagues participating along with our Portuguese colleagues.

BENEDETTI-CONCI AWARD

The Benedetti-Conci Award, for best paper by a candidate from an IFPS society will be given at the Closing of the XIX Forum. The award is $1000 US DOLLARS. The paper must have to do with the topic of the Forum and will be evaluated by a specifically appointed commission. The winning paper will be published in the IFPS journal. Abstracts (300-500 words) indicating submission to Benedetti-Conci Award for IFPS Candidate 2020 before the title should be submitted to António Alvim, [email protected].
