When the above article was first published online, the publication year of the in-text citation (on p. 13) and reference (on p. 18) for Nustad 2011, ‘Property, rights and community in a South African land claim case’, Anthropology Today, Vol. 26, No. 5, pp. 17–22 appeared in error as 2010. This has now been corrected to 2011. A spelling mistake has also been brought to our attention: on page 4, in the second paragraph, ‘past communities’ appeared as ‘past communits’. This has now been corrected.
