Peter Tregear

Peter Tregear is a graduate of the Universities of Melbourne and Cambridge and a former Fellow of Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge, where he also established a career as a conductor specializing in historic revivals and premieres of neglected operatic repertoire. Peter was appointed Professor and Head of the ANU School of Music in 2012, and his most recent books are Ernst Krenek and the Politics of Musical Style (Scarecrow Press, 2013), and Enlightenment or Entitlement: Rethinking Tertiary Music Education (Currency House, 2014).
