Simon Polson
Simon Polson is a postgraduate student at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, the University of Sydney, Australia where he was awarded First Class Honours for his study of sixteenth-century liturgical chant, and where he has also tutored in undergraduate Harmony and Analysis. His interests include the sacred music of the medieval, renaissance and baroque periods, and studies of early manuscripts, notations and liturgical rites. As a performer, he has been a choral scholar with the (Anglican) Choir of Christ Church St Laurence, Sydney, and has participated as Sub-Deacon in the solemn liturgy there.
