Scott Davie

Scott Davie is a solo pianist and chamber musician who has given concerts throughout Australia, Europe, the United States, Mexico, and China. He is known for various cross-disciplinary collaborations, such as with Graeme Murphy and Sydney Dance Company in Grand, and in a 2018 revival of the work with The Australian Ballet. His research focuses on the music of Rachmaninoff, and he gave the Australian premiere of the original version of the composer’s Fourth Piano Concerto with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra at the Sydney Opera House, under conductor Vladimir Ashkenazy. Scott is currently the Deputy Head of the ANU School of Music.
