Dr. Michael Douglas Smith served as an analyst and manager in CIA's Directorate of Intelligence and on the National Intelligence Council. He teaches analysis at the Sherman Kent School of Intelligence Analysis at CIA University and is Professor Emeritus of Intelligence Studies at American Military University.
