Lynn Voskuil

Lynn Voskuil is an Associate Professor of English at the University of Houston, where she teaches Victorian literature, empire studies, and the environmental humanities. She has published widely in these areas in an array of journals and collections. Her books include Acting Naturally: Victorian Theatricality and Authenticity (Virginia, 2004) and the collection Nineteenth-Century Energies: Literature, Technology Culture (Routledge, 2016). She is currently completing a manuscript entitled “Horticulture and Imperialism: The Garden Spaces of the British Empire, 1789–1914.”
