Homero Aridjis

Homero Aridjis is the author of fifty books of poetry and prose. He has received prizes in Mexico, France, Italy, the United States, and Serbia. Among his books in English are 1492: The Life and Times of Juan Cabezón of Castile (1991), Eyes to See Otherwise (2002), A Time of Angels (2012), The Child Poet (2016), and News of the Earth (2017) (reviewed in Review 97). President of PEN International for two terms, Mexico’s ambassador to Switzerland, The Netherlands, and UNESCO, he is founding president of the environmentalist Group of 100.
