Edith Grossman

Edith Grossman is the award-winning translator of major Spanish and Latin American authors including Miguel de Cervantes, Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, Carlos Fuentes, Gabriel García Márquez, and Mario Vargas Llosa. Her most recent translations are Carlos Rojas’s The Ingenious Gentleman and Poet Federico García Lorca Ascends to Hell (2013)Vargas Llosa’s The Discreet Hero (2015); and Cervantes’s Exemplary Novels (2016).
